This book was very well written. From a purely mechanical standpoint, it was flawless. No grammatical errors. No spelling errors. The use of language to create sensations was exceptional. It was wonderfully refreshing to read a properly composed book.While there were a few errors in context, they were small enough to overlook.
This is a wonderful story of facing ghosts and building hope. It's about families.... Unchosen and chosen. It was heartwarming and heart wrenching.

Story line was good but the writing lacked depth. Not enough dialog between characters for me. A lot left unexplained. Who were Kellens parents,what was Rens story? A bit thin on build up This book for me was easy to put down and come back to. I guess that says it all.
A lot of darkness in the past of the one character but otherwise well written. Most definitely kept me reading and rooting for these gals. Also enjoyed the setting (geography, work).
Wow... Ms Quinn knows how to keep you interested. There is no doubt that Dana and Kellen are the main characters; they will get together; but the road they travel is full of friends and horrifying past memories. The path they travel will keep you wondering, hoping, believing, and reading. Bless the chosen family.
A.J. Quinn can always be counted on to deliver a great story filled with action and suspense. Just Enough Light is no exception. If you like romance, suspense and a story about two strong women who face an uncertain villain, this is the book for you. I highly recommend it.
I was so impressed with this book that I read it twice. Incredibly rare for me. It's refreshingly original and I couldn't help but to love the characters, and the story as it unfolded. There's never angst for angst sake. A few of the characters of lived through some hell, but in this story it only makes them admirable. There's no milking it. The relationship itself and how it unfolds, incredibly well done. I can't say enough good things about this book!!
There's nothing I love more than finding that one book that calls me back to read again and again and this one does exactly that. I love how the nuances of each individual character gives credence to the structure of this book. From beginning to end I never once wanted to put this book down and even when I was done I kept looking for more. I'm hoping that, that wasn't the end as I felt that the story between Kellen and Dana was just getting started! Often times it's the families we choose that give us the biggest support and love one could ever want or ever need. And because of the connection, the bond that develops with every word the author writes only adds to the
... it is way over the top. There is enough in this book to enjoy but I wish there was less of a lot of things. All the lesbians are wonderful flawless people second only to a government official in goodness. The heroine has more than enough resilience. I suspect she is bionic. She has amazing tracking skills too. And she is a great lover and beautiful. The villain is excessively evil and able to go about doing his evil unhindered. He is such a skilled bad guy it looks like our heroine hasn't got a chance!
